Winter Has Come - Time for a recipe !!
Main Ingredients - The Winter Pea Soup
2 tablespoons of LeafEra Moringa Powder.
2 Tablespoons Low - Calorie butter
2 Onions (medium, finely chopped)
2 Cups Water
3 Cups Green peas (fresh shelled)
3 tablespoons Whipping cream (optional)
Melt butter in saucepan over medium flame.
Cook the onions until soft and translucent, just about 3 minutes.
Pour water and peas in the saucepan.
Add salt and pepper as per your taste.
Increase the flame to medium-high, bring to a boil.
Now reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer until the peas are tender.
This would take around 19 - 25 minutes.
Puree the peas in a blender.
Strain back into the saucepan, stir in the cream if using, and reheat.
Add a tablespoon of Moringa powder into the saucepan and stir it well.
Now remove the saucepan from the flame and serve it hot.
