The Winter Pea Soup
2 Tablespoons Low - Calorie butter
2 Onions (medium, finely chopped)
2 Cups Water
3 Cups Green peas (fresh shelled)
3 tablespoons Whipping cream (optional)
2 tablespoons of LeafEra Moringa Powder.
Melt the Low-Calorie butter in a saucepan over medium flame.
Melt the Low-Calorie butter in saucepan over medium flame.
Cook the onions until soft and translucent, about 3 minutes.
Pour the water and peas.
Add salt and pepper for the taste.
Increase the flame to medium-high, bring to a boil.
Now reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer until the peas are tender.
This would take around 18 minutes.
Use the blender to puree the peas.
Strain back into the saucepan, stir in the cream if using, and reheat.
Add a tablespoon of Moringa powder into the saucepan and stir it well.
Now remove the saucepan from the flame and serve it hot.
