The Winter Pea Soup

Main Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Low - Calorie butter

  • 2 Onions (medium, finely chopped)

  • 2 Cups Water

  • 3 Cups Green peas (fresh shelled)

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  • 3 tablespoons Whipping cream (optional)

  • 2 tablespoons of LeafEra Moringa Powder.

Melt the Low-Calorie butter in a saucepan over medium flame.


  • Melt the Low-Calorie butter in saucepan over medium flame.

  • Cook the onions until soft and translucent, about 3 minutes.

  • Pour the water and peas.

  • Add salt and pepper for the taste.

  • Increase the flame to medium-high, bring to a boil.

  • Now reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer until the peas are tender.

  • This would take around 18 minutes.

  • Use the blender to puree the peas.

  • Strain back into the saucepan, stir in the cream if using, and reheat.

  • Add a tablespoon of Moringa powder into the saucepan and stir it well.

  • Now remove the saucepan from the flame and serve it hot.
